Ten years ago I married the perfect woman for me and together we have started our journey on the most incredible adventure. We met on a ski instructor’s course and I still love the outdoors, in particular I am passionate about the mountains and adventure sports, especially skiing! Relaxing for me is warm weather, a hammock, a good book and a chilled beer. I will reluctantly watch chick flicks with Janine and do my best not to well up (no crying!), however, I would rather watch a good cop drama, comedy, or sci-fi film. I can be funny (or at least I think so) and people tell me I am very easy to get along with… I love all things Apple/ Mac, Canon cameras, new toys and gadgets and especially camera gear. Americano is my coffee of choice and my food weakness is good quality cheese and bread - I could munch on cheddar and blue cheese all day long. My wife, Janine, brings out the best in me and she has taught me that helping others and giving back is one of the most rewarding experiences in life.

I’m a short, friendly Northern girl. Singing, reading novels and watching comedy are my downtime passions - I always have a tune in my head, singing makes me happy & once a week, I leave Ian to his geeky stuff and sing with Vocalis, a local Chamber Choir, which is food for the soul. My mornings always begin with a mug of Yorkshire tea to set me up for the day ahead. When I’m not working, I get out in the fresh air, for a jog, spend time at our allotment or hill walking with Ian, which enables us to enjoy the beautiful Yorkshire Dales on our doorstep.
