Old Photo Restoration

Restoration of an old photograph can awaken memories and bring life back to your old cherished photos. Do you have damaged, faded or torn family photos and think they are beyond repair ? Don’t panic, our Photo Restoration Service is here to help. We can digitally restore and repair old photos and damaged prints turning your precious memories into new prints and digital files for future generations to enjoy. 

Negatives & 35mm Slides

Many of us also have 35mm slides which can't be viewed because the projector is broken - the answer is to digitise them. They can then be easily viewed on a computer and iPad, printed as often as you like, and securely archived for the future.

Grandparents

Young children (and older ones) always want to know what life was like 'back in the day'. Why not create a new memory with them and share your restored photo collection. You could have them made into a new album or simply offer them the digital files for their computer and iPad so they can enjoy and treasure them for years to come.

Our Scanning Service includes cropping, simple image adjustments and basic dust removal.

Scanning service only - minimum order £15.

Restoration Service

The following grading system is a guide only. Images with multiple issues may not fall exactly in to one category and the price will vary accordingly. 

  • Grade 1  -  Simple scratch removal, contrast, cropping, sharpening.             £6 - £12
  • Grade 2  -  Minor discolouration, fading, hairline cracks, light damage.        £13 - £20
  • Grade 3  -  Deep scratch marks, small facial area corrections, multiple paper wrinkles, medium fading, small areas missing.     £21 - £38
  • Grade 4  -  Larger areas missing or damaged, large facial area corrections, major rebuilding or removing objets, significant tears or folds, heavy fading.    £39 and up 

All repair work is discussed and agreed prior to being carried out.
